At Highlands Homestead, every product is handcrafted in small batches with care and intention. Because our items are handmade and often personal-use products, we have the following return and refund policies in place.

All Sales Are Final

Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on used or opened items, including but not limited to soaps, body care, candles, and home fragrance products.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, include:

  • Your order number

  • A clear photo of the damaged item

  • A photo of the packaging it arrived in

Once reviewed, we will gladly offer:

  • A replacement or

  • A refund to your original form of payment

Incorrect Orders

If you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery, and we will make it right.

Scent & Preference Disclaimer

Scent is subjective. We do not offer refunds or exchanges based on scent preference, color variation, or minor aesthetic differences. Because our products are handmade, natural variations are normal and part of their charm.

Shipping Issues

We are not responsible for delays caused by the postal service once an order has shipped. However, if a package is marked as delivered but cannot be located, please contact your local carrier first. If you still need assistance, reach out and we’ll do our best to help.

Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase as long as production has not begun. Once an order is in progress or shipped, it cannot be canceled.
